1. What this covers
This policy covers personal data collected through getsetanta.com. It does not cover data processed during a professional services engagement, which is governed by the agreement and data processing terms signed for that engagement.
2. What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, email address, optionally the fund or company you are with, and the message you write. Nothing else is collected, and there are no accounts to create.
We do not run advertising or third-party analytics trackers on this website, and we do not set cookies for tracking or profiling.
3. Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry and to carry on the resulting correspondence. That is the only purpose. We do not use it to build a marketing list, we do not run automated sequences, and we do not sell or share it with anyone for their own purposes.
The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has asked us to, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
4. Who processes it
Enquiries are stored with our hosting and database provider and notified to us by email. These providers process the data on our instructions only, under written terms, and do not use it for their own purposes.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 24 months. Where an enquiry leads to an engagement, the correspondence is retained for as long as the business relationship continues and then for whatever period the law requires.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and the CCPA, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a portable copy, and to complain to your data protection authority. We do not sell personal information, and we do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.

7. Security
Enquiry data is transmitted over TLS and stored with access restricted to those who need it. No transmission or storage is perfectly secure, which is why the terms ask you not to send confidential information through this website.
8. Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where we hold your details and the change affects you, tell you directly.
