What does Setanta do?

Setanta helps small and mid-sized businesses put Claude to work through three packages. Launch rolls Claude out to your whole team and trains them on the work they already do. Build finds the manual work slowing your business down and rebuilds it so AI handles it, start to finish. Scale builds Claude into your product so AI makes you money, not just saves it.

Who is Setanta for?

Small and mid-sized businesses that want AI doing real work, whether they are starting from zero or already use Claude every day. The best fit is a team willing to change how the work gets done.

Which package should we start with?

Start wherever you are. If your team is not using AI yet, or you are paying for seats nobody opens, start with Launch. If your team uses Claude and one manual process still eats the most hours, start with Build. If AI already runs inside the business and you want it in what you sell, start with Scale.

How do we know a package is done?

Each one has a finish line agreed up front. Launch is done when your team would push back if you took Claude away. Build is done when you can point to the number that moved. Scale is done when AI is making you money, not just saving it.

What do you need from our team?

The people who do the work, in the room. Access to your real work and data, not a tidy sample. A number we agree on before we start, so the result is measured against your own baseline. And someone who can say yes.

What do we keep when the engagement ends?

Everything. It runs in your own accounts and infrastructure, and your team knows how it works. No licence, no seat count, and no dependency on us.

Which AI models and platforms do you build on?

Anthropic’s Claude models, and Ramp, HubSpot and Instantly for the systems the work usually runs through. We take no margin on model spend: you contract with the vendor directly. Where a smaller model or a simple rule does the job better, we use that instead.

What happens to our data?

Everything is built in your own accounts, with your vendor contracts and your credentials. Anthropic does not use business and enterprise API traffic to train models by default.

What work do you turn down?

Projects where the deliverable is a strategy document, processes whose owner has not agreed they need changing, processes broken in a way AI does not fix, and any brief that is really about replacing a team.

Have you done this for a business like ours?

Our published client story is THG Insurance, an independent agency in Wilmington, NC. Using Claude, set up with Setanta, THG reports comparing 150-page policies in minutes instead of days and building a client-ready proposal in about five minutes instead of 90.

Who does the work?

Our founder, who has led business systems, data and AI transformations at Catalant, Stylitics, Sony and Machinery Partner. The person you meet is the person who does the work.

How do we get started?

Book a call and tell us where you are with AI today. The free Operating Diagnostic is that call: it shows which package fits, or whether now is not the right time.

How long does an AI implementation take?

It depends on the package. Launch is built to make your whole team faster in week one. Build and Scale depend on the process or product involved, so Setanta does not quote one standard timeline. Each package has a finish line agreed before the work starts, and none is a six-month project.

Launch is done when your team would push back if Claude were taken away. Build is done when you can point to the number that moved. Scale is done when AI is making you money, not just saving it. The quickest way to get a specific answer for your business is the free Operating Diagnostic.

What does a Claude partner do?

A Claude partner sets Claude up inside your business and teaches your team to use it. Setanta is an Anthropic Partner. It rolls Claude out to whole teams, rebuilds manual processes so AI handles them, and builds Claude into products, then leaves the system running in your own accounts.

A partner here is not a reseller. Setanta does not resell model capacity or take margin on model spend; you contract with the vendor directly. The deliverable is a working system plus people who know how to run it, not a strategy deck. Setanta also works with Ramp, HubSpot and Instantly, the platforms the work usually runs through.

How can insurance agencies use AI?

Insurance agencies use AI on document-heavy work: comparing long policies, building client proposals, completing forms and researching accounts. THG Insurance, an independent agency in Wilmington, NC, reports comparing 150-page policies in minutes instead of days and building a proposal in about five minutes instead of 90, using Claude set up with Setanta.

THG also reports condensing what 10 software products were doing into one, which is Claude. Its CEO says the aim is to grow, not to cut jobs. The agency page sets out where Claude works at THG today and which package an agency might start with.

What is the Operating Diagnostic?

The Operating Diagnostic is Setanta's free first step. It looks at how your team works today and finds where Claude would move your numbers first. You leave knowing which package fits, Launch, Build or Scale, and what the fixed fee would be, or hearing honestly that now is not the right time.

It is not a strategy deck. It is a straight answer on where Claude would help most. You book it from the Operating Diagnostic page, and it costs nothing to find out.

Is there AI consulting in Wilmington, NC?

Yes. Setanta is an AI deployment firm based in Wilmington, North Carolina, working with small and mid-sized businesses across the Southeast US. It is led by its founder, and its published client story is THG Insurance, an independent agency in Wilmington. The first step is a free Operating Diagnostic.

Setanta does hands-on deployment rather than advice on paper: it does not produce strategy documents as a deliverable, and it measures success by a number agreed before the work starts.

Which areas does Setanta serve?

Setanta serves businesses across the Southeast US, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia and Alabama. The firm is based in Wilmington, North Carolina, and its published client story is a Wilmington insurance agency. If you are elsewhere in the Southeast US, book a call to check fit.

Setanta is deliberately small and takes a limited number of engagements at once, so fit matters more than location. If it is the wrong fit, you will hear that on the first call.

What is the difference between AI consulting and AI deployment?

A consulting engagement can end with a strategy document. AI deployment ends with Claude working inside your business, run by your own team. Setanta does deployment: it does not produce strategy documents as a deliverable, and it counts the work as done when a number you agreed beforehand has moved.

In practice that means Setanta works on your real work and data with the people who do the work in the room, builds in your own accounts, and leaves you with no dependency on Setanta afterwards.

How the packages work

Why does Setanta build on Claude instead of another AI model?

Setanta builds on Anthropic's Claude because business API traffic is not used for training by default, which is usually legal's first question, and because Claude flags gaps instead of inventing answers. It is not always the answer, though. For simple, high-volume jobs, a smaller model or a plain rule often wins, and Setanta uses those.

You contract with the vendor directly and Setanta takes no margin on model spend, so it has no reason to push a larger model than the job needs.

Why Claude, and when not

Will AI replace my team?

Not with Setanta. It turns down any brief that is really about replacing a team. At THG Insurance, CEO Chad Huneycutt told staff from day one: “This is a tool to make you better. This isn’t a tool to replace you.” THG says it is using Claude to grow, not to cut jobs.

The time won back goes to the work that needs people, such as developing the team and planning where the business goes next.

How do we know whether AI is working?

Every package is measured against a number agreed before the work starts, using your own baseline rather than an industry benchmark. You sign off on that baseline, so you can check the result yourself. Each package also has a finish line, so both sides know when the work is done.

Build, for example, is done when you can point to the number that moved. Setanta also turns down work where the process is broken in a way AI does not fix.

Is Setanta the same company as Setanta Sports or Setanta Space Systems?

No. Setanta at getsetanta.com is an AI deployment firm based in Wilmington, North Carolina, in the United States. It is not Setanta Sports, and it is not Setanta Space Systems in Dublin, Ireland. Setanta is the boyhood name of Cú Chulainn.

The name fits how the firm works: Cú Chulainn took on a job because it needed doing and he was the one standing there.
