Setanta

Industries

Where Claude does the paperwork in businesses with real operations.

Setanta works with 50 to 500 person companies that have a real operating bottleneck and no in-house AI team, in any industry. This page lists the seven we have written up: insurance, HOA management, equipment dealers, fire protection, specialty distribution, engineering and architecture, and HVAC. We have one published client story, in insurance.

Seven industries

Pick the one that looks like your business. Or tell us a different one.

Each page describes the workflows where Claude helps and what stays with your people. Only insurance has a client behind it.

  • Insurance agencies

Our one published client story. Policy comparison, proposals, forms and research, as reported by THG Insurance in Wilmington, NC.

  • HOA management

Violation letters, board packets, architectural requests and owner email, drafted from your governing documents.

  • Equipment dealers

Parts quotes, service estimates, warranty claims and used equipment listings.

  • Fire protection

Inspection reports from field notes, deficiency descriptions and the repair quotes that follow.

  • Specialty distribution

Order entry, quoting and cross-references for distributors, including pool supply.

  • Engineering and architecture

Proposals and RFP responses, specification and submittal review, and project documents.

  • HVAC

Call intake and dispatch context, maintenance agreements, quotes with options and warranty paperwork.

What they share

Different trades, the same kind of work.

These businesses look different from the outside, and they share a shape inside. Skilled people spend a large part of the week reading something (a policy, a covenant, a purchase order, an inspection note, a specification) and writing something else (a proposal, a letter, a quote, a report). The reading and writing is slow, uneven from person to person and hard to hand off. That is the work Claude does well.

It is not the part that makes these businesses valuable. The judgment of an adjuster, a fire technician or a licensed engineer is not the target. We aim at the paperwork that sits between that judgment and the customer, and we set workflows up so a named person reviews anything that matters.

What is proven and what is not

One client story. Six pages that say what we would build.

Our published proof is THG Insurance, an independent agency in Wilmington, NC. As reported by THG, comparing 150-page policies went from days to minutes, and building a client-ready proposal went from about 90 minutes to about 5.

For the other six industries, we say plainly that we have no client there yet. The pages describe workflows from how those businesses operate. The free Operating Diagnostic is where we find out whether yours fits, and it says so honestly if it does not. Your industry not listed? The core of our work is any business of 50 to 500 people with a real bottleneck, so tell us what yours is.

Where we work

Across the US Southeast, from Wilmington.

Setanta serves companies in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia and Alabama. See the locations page for the metros we have written up and the State of AI by State report for the adoption data behind them.

Questions

Asked before every first call.

Which industries does Setanta work in?

Any industry, provided the company has 50 to 500 people, no in-house AI team and a real operating bottleneck. We have written up seven: insurance, HOA management, equipment dealers, fire protection, specialty distribution, engineering and architecture, and HVAC. Only insurance has a published client story.

Do you have clients in these industries?

One published story, in insurance: THG Insurance, an independent agency in Wilmington, NC. For the other six industries we have no published client, and the pages say so. They describe what we would build, and the Diagnostic tells you whether it fits.

THG Insurance story

What if our industry is not listed?

Tell us. The core of Setanta's work is any business of 50 to 500 people with a real operating bottleneck and no in-house AI team. The Diagnostic looks at how your business runs, whatever the industry, and says which package fits or that it is not time.

Do you replace staff?

No. We turn down any brief that is really about replacing a team. The work targets the reading and writing between your people's judgment and the customer, and we set workflows up so a named person reviews anything that matters.

What is the free Operating Diagnostic?

A free call (book a time) that looks at how your team works today. It finds where Claude would move your numbers first and the process worth fixing first, and says which package fits. If it is not the right time, we say so.
