What an Anthropic Partner does for a 200-person industrial company

Why we wrote this

Here is a story we hear often. A COO at an industrial company buys Claude seats for the office. There is a kickoff email. A few people try it. Three months later, most seats have not been opened in weeks. The COO is not sure what went wrong, and is not keen to spend more to find out.

The hardest part sits with the frontline. The people who would gain the most, the estimator, the inside sales rep, the dispatcher, the service writer, are the busiest people in the company. They have no time to work out how AI fits their job. So they keep doing it the old way.

On the P&L, that shows up as a cost with no return. Worse, it makes the next good idea harder to sell.

Setanta exists to fix that. We make your whole company as good as your best person. Being an Anthropic Partner is part of how we do it. It is worth being clear about what that does and does not mean.

What Anthropic Partner means

We are an Anthropic Partner. That means we work with Anthropic and specialize in putting Claude to work inside companies.

It does not mean Claude is right for every job. It does not mean we sell you licences at a markup. Licences are billed to you by Anthropic. It does not mean Anthropic stands behind every recommendation we make. We own our work.

It also means we are not vendor-neutral about the model. We work with Claude. We try hard to be neutral about everything else: whether you need us at all, whether a product beats a custom build, and whether now is the right time.

You can read more on our partners page.

Launch, Build and Scale in plant terms

We offer three packages. Each one starts with why, then how, then what. Details are on our services page.

PackageWhyWhat it coversDuration
LaunchSeats nobody opens are a wasteClaude rolled out to your whole team and trained on the work they already doScoped in the diagnostic
BuildOne process sets the pace of the business and only runs well when one person is inOne end-to-end process, run the way your best person runs it, with a person approving the steps that matterScoped in the diagnostic
ScaleYour best people are still the bottleneck everywhere elseCompany-wide: 3 to 4 processes across up to 3 departments, including one customer-facing processScoped in the diagnostic, then the Run retainer

In a 200-person plant, a Build might be RFQ to quote. We sit with your best estimator, write down how they decide, and put Claude to work in your email, drive and ERP. Claude drafts. The estimator approves. We agree one number before we start, like time from RFQ to quote sent, and we measure on your numbers.

Scale takes what worked and spreads it. Maybe order entry in customer service, travelers in planning, and one thing your customers feel directly, like faster quotes or order status answers. After that, the Run retainer keeps it working: monitoring, fixes and small changes.

What it looks like for the people doing the work

The test is whether the frontline person's hardest hour gets easier. The rep opens a drafted quote instead of a blank screen. The dispatcher accepts a drafted load instead of retyping a tender. The service writer checks a drafted claim instead of writing from scratch. If that is not happening, the project has not worked, however good the demo was.

Questions to ask any partner

Ask us these too. Our guide on how to choose a Claude implementation partner goes deeper.

  1. Who will sit with our frontline people, and for how long?
  2. Will you test on our real past work before we go live?
  3. What number will move, and who measures it?
  4. Where do people approve, and where does the system act on its own?
  5. Do you work in our accounts, or build something we rent from you?
  6. When would you tell us to buy a product instead?
  7. What proof do you have in our industry?

On that last one, our answer is plain. We do not have an industrial client yet. Our approved proof is from THG, an independent insurance agency in Wilmington, NC, where comparing 150-page policies went from days to minutes. Their CEO, Chad Huneycutt, said: "Implementing Claude would have been a challenge I don't know that I would have been able to rise above without Setanta." That is insurance, not a plant. We would rather you know that now.

How to start

If you bought seats that nobody opens, start with our free Operating Diagnostic. We look at how your team works today and tell you which process to fix first, and whether you need us at all.

Questions

Questions we hear

Does an Anthropic Partner resell Claude?

Not in our case. Licences are billed to you by Anthropic. We do the implementation work.

Do we need Launch before Build?

It helps. Build assumes Claude is already live with sign-in, a use policy and a named champion. If it is not, we add that foundation at the start.

How long does each package take?

Each one is scoped in the diagnostic, based on the process and your systems. We agree the number we are trying to move before we start.

Want to know if we fit? One call will tell you.
